Valley Girl Spanish

Hi everyone! Guess what?! I got a new companion!!!! Eh…I know that it isn’t transfer time yet, but I am now with Sister Heder! Sister Heder is from Utah (like the rest of time) and her mom is Cuban! Sister Heder has a wicked cool Spanish accent, so she is going to work with me with my accent because I only have 4 months left and I need to get rid of my valley girl Spanish accent! So im pretty happy about that! Hermana Heder was in Oak Cliff and she has been out about 7 month, so she is kinda new but not really!!!
Another exciting news is that I SURIVIED A TORNADO! Well, the tornado was no where, where I was, so that’s good. It just rained and rained like crazy!
Besides the Tornado we found this young mother, who is awesome, we found her knocking doors and we taught her the 1st lesson and she told us that she is willing to do anything because she knows that we are messengers from God! So we set up a return appointment with her and we called her to confirm but she said she couldn’t do it. So we are going to stop by her house this week.
OH OH!! Norma Vazquez, she has been waiting to get married for the past 2 years, but she was waititng for a divorce and then she need to get married, afterwards. We finally got news that she is getting married next month or in two months!! Finally after 2 years of waiting she is getting baptized! She told us that she is tired of waititng to get baptized and the second after she gets married she is going to get baptized! Do you know how many sets of missionaries have been waiting for this day?! At least a dozen! I’m just lucky that I’m going to be here when it happens.
Yesterday, we went by this medial referral, her name is Julieta, and her cousin is a member in South Carolina. But I called her to see if she wanted to come to church, despite the fact I called 10 mins before church. i was like well, there not much time left if she isn’t ready but I called her anyways, and she didn’t pick up but she called back, and she was crying hysterically! I was a miracle that I understood what she was saying. So right after church we went by her house and we found out that her husband left her because he like the company of other woman. So she was out of it, then we talked to her and she said we were send to her from God. That we are the messengers that she needs, and so we taught her a little bit about priesthood blessings. She expressed that she wanted one, so we called the Ward Mission Leader and he came and gave her a blessing. She knows that she needs to go in the right path and follow God and that he loves her. Its so sad when people forget that they are children of God.
Well, everyone! Another week as a missionary! I just to remind you of how much I love you!
Love always,
Hermana Beetso

Quote of the Week:
Remember how I said there was a tornado here, well this is about the elders and sisters…kinda.
Hermana Ulberg: Well, I asked Sister Williams how many parents called to ask about their child. Then Sister Williams said a lot! And guess how many sisters’ parents called? None!
