Dear Everyone!
How are you doing today! I am great, I just relized that I have less than 4 months left on my mission! I cant believe how the time flies! I felt like I just got to texas and I have no idea how to talk in Spanish. But I know that its almost time for me to go home and finish school, and be a normal person again, but I really don’t want to but my time is almost gone. I am almost done serving the Lord, I love my time here and I will not waste any of my time here!
Well this is what happened this week, Carmen got baptized I never thought that I would ever see her get baptized, so about almost a year of working hard with Carmen and she made it. Know the elders are going to teach her family and hopefully they will get married.
Talking about investigators that have been taught for a while is, Lorena. We went by her house and she wants to get baptized but her boyfriend wont marry her, which is a huge problem. This is the only thing that she is lacking, so we asked her if she has the faith to ask her husband to get married, so we are going to see what she does because as missionaries we only can do so much for her.
My companion and I found a new family, the father is name Fernando and he doesn’t know who Jesus Christ is. He was brought up Catholic and he knows that Jesus Christ is the Son of God but he doesn’t know really why Jesus Christ is important to our salvation. He lack a lot of faith, he said that he was going to hard times and he prayed to God but nothing got better, then he stop praying and things got a lot better. We tried to explain that we need faith we need to exercise it and that the challenges that are givin to us are to help us not to take us down but to help us grow.
We saw Norma Vazquez and her divorce is final but she needs to wait 30 days before she can get baptized but something happened. She has a miscarriage so she isn’t feeling that great, but we just tired to go over the plan of salvation and she know where her baby is. Its so hard because she was so happy about having that baby, getting married, then baptized. So the Relief Socitey is going to help out around the house. Well Everyone, Time Flies and I love you!
Love always,
Hermana Annie Beetso
