:)

Good morning everyone!
So what is going on in Grand Prairie, Texas? Well this week we had a Family Home Eveing with a investigator who has been taking the lessons for 2 years, her name is Norma. Norma knows that the church is true, she knows that she needs to get baptized but she cant because she is waiting on her divorce with her husband. She needs that divorce so that she can get married to her current live in boyfriend. We watched the Prophet of the Restoration and she loved it! This week went and visited a mother name Sona and she is from El Salvador! She is studying with other religious groups. We taught her about why there are so many different churches and she totally agrees with us. Then we went back and watched that movie about Jospeh Smith and his experience. Sona loved it but like many people she cant get baptized because her boyfriend has a wife in El Salvador and her boyfriend is thinking about returning to his wife. Then she is going to move to North Carolina so she cant get baptized until she does some soul searching and see what she want to do with her life.
Then last week we found a man name Fernando, we knocked into his door and he told us he could come in…well actually his 11 year old daughter answered the door and told us that we could come in. then we found him watching wrestling in his boxers. Lets just say his attention wasn’t that focused on us but still enough to let us come back. So we came back and he was all dressed, so that’s always a good sign. We were late, so we reviewed the Restration and the experience of Joseph Smith and we left him a DVD to watch. He said he would watch it and we are going to see what happens with him this week! This week I went on exchanges to Oak Cliff with Hermana Ulberg, and I learned a lot from here. We had a miracle day because none of our appointments cancelled! We were able to teach this mom and we were telling her about prophets and for a period of time there wasn’t any, then we started to tell the experience of Joseph Smith, then she was like then what? Again she said, then what happened? I never had anyone asked that question or have someone wait to see what happens! I could see her getting baptized. Then we stopped by a members house who told us that she is way catholic and was really surprised that she loved the experience of Joseph Smith. Of course what I learned from my mission, you can NEVER judge a book by its cover. Well, I hope that all ya’ll enjoy your week!
Love Always,
Hermana Beetso
BLAST FROM THE PAST:
So Texas is hot… and I am dark…like tan dark because we are always
outside. But I went to San Francisco for like a day and I came back
dark.
Hermana Beetso: Dad, I think I got sunburned.
Dad: No you didn’t, you just look like your Navajo now
