Sister 1, Elders 0

HI EVERYONE!!!
So remember how last time I got transferred and I went back to my previous areas? I am now back in Grand Prairie, Texas! I would say that im on my 2nd Cycle! But oh well I love it here. I got to see all the members that I left behind. I am very surprised that the members remember me!! Because there was this sister who eneded her mission her and they only knew her as the sister that ended her mission here. And the one that went back to Utah.
I got see Ricardo! The Gopspel has really chahged his life! And Ricardo loves the sisters! I asked him if he could come out with us on a appointment and he said yes, while the Elders keep on asking him and he said no! HAHAHA. So sisters are really better than elders. But the thing is that the investigator we had wasn’t the most spiritual uplifting person.
Hermana Klienman and I have two baptismal dates, while a guy name Leo who is 29 years old and the other is a young 9 year old boy name Alex. Leo is a ok kind of guy, like he wants to learn and change. But we are too sure how much he wants to change. We had two lesson with him. The 1st less was a miracle! We just had called Leo to see if he could set up an appointment with us to come see us but he said that he didn’t want anything to do with the Mormon Church. so were like ok…whatever. Then we had to go to the church to meet with our leaders to give them a paper. The out of no where Leo showed up! And Hna. Kleinman thought we had an appointment but we didn’t set one up. In conclusion, he said he just came to the church, and if anyone is there he is taking it as a sign to that he need to get baptized. So we weren’t planning on even being their at all. So we taught him and he said that he wants to know and wants to truly change! So we set a date with him.
So after that appointment I wanted Ricardo to come with us because Leo kinda remined me of Ricardo, because they both don’t like the word baptism. So, i asked Ricardo to share his testimony about how he knows that the Book of Mormon is true and how he knew it was important to get baptized. So, the appointment came and Leo was grilling Ricardo for information! Because we were teaching about Repentance and Leo could feel that Ricardo had a hard time, like his pass. So Leo asked Ricardo personal information, that Ricardo has repented of. And it got to the point that Ricardo just closed himself off. So Hna. Klienman was like dude (not the exacted words) stop asking him about his past. He is baptized and repented of his sins. So their was a little contention, and I made sure that we read that scripture in D&C that says that once we repent of our sins God Will remember them no more. Ricardo smile was brought back.
With Alex, he is a 9 year old boy who is a member of a less active family. The Less Acitve family just showed up for Actives night, at the church and we got to meet his family. The mom wants us to baptize him, because this is what Alex wants to do. He is cute and a little shy. Maybe he will be li ke Joshua, shy and then we he gets used to us, his true personality will appear. Like Joshua has this crazy kitten, who like scratches everyone, and I don’t know if Joshua lies his cat. But I dew a picture of Jousha and I I write this. I am Joshua and I love my cat. Then Joshua dew a picture of me and said, Im sister Beetso and I’m being sacarcastic!
Well, the other days we were just meeting people, because I don’t know any one of the Elders investigators, so unlike my other new weeks in the field, I actually remember what happened this week! Well everyone, I love and miss you!
Love Always,
Hermana Annie Beetso
