It all started like any other day... The time was 10:15 AM and Clarence wasn't out of bed yet. We were suppose to be leaving at 10:00 AM. Clarence still had a list of things to get done and there he was dreaming:)
However, he managed to roll out of bed and it all began...
First Mel went outside and dusted all the snow from the night before off the car, they came to Provo just in time for all the snow!
Clarence decided that it was time he started acting like an Elder, he started meeting the local people of Utah. He began his missionary work at P.F. Chang's right after lunch!
We then ventured off to the mall. After a couple hours of searching we finally found the perfect suit!
In fact, he knew he looked so good that he had to take a picture of himself!
When the snow finally melted later on in that day we were able to see the parking job that Mel had actually done;)
Finally our day ended with a trip to the "Missionary Mall" and dinner at In-n-Out Burger. I had no idea how long it would take Clarence to get a few simple things left on his list. (Kami I don't know how you deal with him! jk)
The next day came, the BIG day was finally here! Clarence got ready to go to the MTC! He was finally packed and ready to serve the Lord for the next two years! He looked very sharp in his carefully picked out suit and tie. However we had some time to kill before we could go to drop him off at the curve.
So we ventured off across the street to the Provo Temple. The water was frozen and everything was covered in a blanket of snow. However we were fortunate enough that it was a clear day with a high of 18 degrees!
We finally made it to the Mission Training Center!
The Elders were eager and ready to help!
Elder Clarnce A. Groten is now safely in the MTC!
We wish you the best of luck in Honduras! We all love you! Return With Honor!!
