I Live Under A Rock... Well Kinda:)

Hello everyone, I hope that all ya’ll had a great week! Well, here in Texas its getting cold! So that means winter is upon us but the weather in Texas is a bit different than normal weather. One day it will be shining and the next, it will be cold as can be! But whatever with the weather! I still got to find the people that are ready!
This week we got to visit Rita Martinez, and she is doing great! Almost two weeks after her sugery, she is getting up on her own but she needs to be careful that she doesn’t stress anything out too much. But we got to visit her three times this week and we got to watch the Testaments and Rita absoultly loved it! Other day we just painted her toes nails and nails and she loved it. She can do a lot of stuff on her own but its just the company she likes because she is stuck in a house for 6 weeks! And that’s never too much fun. Rita is extremely exited for her baptism that she keeps on telling everyone that she is getting baptized.
This week I got to visit Norma Vazques and she told me that she is going to get married to her husband and that she is waiting for her husband’s sister to get her visa so that she can come to the wedding. But I don’t think Norma wants to get married, I think she is just getting married so that she can get baptized. We were teaching a lesson with the kids but I couldn’t tell her that she shouldn’t marry him just to marry him. So what I said is that she needs to feel the Holy Ghost and if you get a good feeling than its something that you should do. But if you don’t feel the Holy Ghost, and if you feel sick then it isn’t right. I think she got the message I was going to say. But she promised us that she was going to go to church but she didn’t come!!! I’m upset because she promised me and she didn’t come. This week we found a new family their names are Gloria and her daughter Gloria. We found them knocking doors and we had planed out a lesson that we were going to teach them but we didn’t do what we planed. Instead we followed the spirt and we taught them another way…not our normal way but I have never felt the spirt so strong, and neither have they! Then at the end of the lesson we were like when you know these things are true will you be baptized with someone holding the authority of God! And they said yes…I mean how they could not say no, because they felt the Holy Ghost and the Truth! We have another appointment with them as we are going to commit them to a date,
because they are truly ready for the gospel.
Well, everyone I hope that you have a great week! And Go Arizona Diamondbacks… I just found out that the Texas Rangers were in the World Serious… then they lost.
